Play Ball! It's Opening Day And Here Is The New Ballpark Food To Check Out

Today is your day if you're a baseball fan. Opening Day 2024 for Major League Baseball's season. So when you watch your favorite teams, you want good snack options, and ballparks all over the country are serving up all kinds of tasty new recipes this season.

The new food and drink options available at MLB games this year include:

  • T-Mobile Park - Standout new items at the home of the Seattle Mariners are katsu curry rice, Dungeness crab pizza topped with warm butter, dill, thyme, parmesan and lemon juice, and two stadium-exclusive ice cream flavors from Salt & Straw - Wild-forged Berry Slab Pie ice cream and Vegan Strawberry Coconut Water sherbet.
  • Guaranteed Rate Field - Chicago White Sox fans can enjoy a variety of new sandwiches, like the Southside smashed steakburger, the “Settling a Beef” - one of a few different takes on a Reuben they offer, and a new sweet treat - the Campfire Chocolate Milkshake, which is topped with graham crackers and toasted marshmallow.
  • Tropicana Field - Braised Short Rib Nachos and the Pretzel Slugger Dog are some of the new options for those watching the Tampa Bay Rays play.
  • Wrigley Field - Take in a Chicago Cubs game to get to sample the ballpark’s new Citrus-Ancho Chicken Quesadillas and Ancho Marinated Tri-tip Sandwiches with Chimmichurri.
  • Minute Maid Park - The much-anticipated Pennant Pickle Dog is waiting here for Houston Astros fans.
  • Dodger Stadium - The home of the LA Dodgers has a new Carne Asada Torta made on fluffy bread.
  • Chase Field - Fans of the Arizona Diamondbacks can chow down on new items including the Millionaire Steak Sandwich and the Apple Pie Chimichanga topped with vanilla frozen yogurt, caramel sauce, those iconic Cracker Jacks and strawberries.
  • Nationals Park - The ballpark recently got some upgrades, including new foods like Screech Burger Sliders, named after the Washington Nationals’ eagle mascot.
